Outpost Part 3

Hello All - Thanks for stopping by. This is the continuing series to the "Outpost" project. These new images are for the rear building, level 2. These views include images of the entry, waiting areas, private offices and semi private offices. The level is designed for quietter, more independent work environment, whereas level one is more of a collaborative work environment, hence the lack of privacy. Level 3 and the atrium space are next. Comments are always welcome.

Outpost Part 2

Hello All. Over the past few months, I have been working on a new promotional piece called "Outpost". "Outpost" has been a rather ambitious project in that it is the larges and one of the most complex structures that I have designed. The entire structure consists of 3 individual sections - an entry building, a bridge spanning a canyon, and a rear building. The front entry building and bridge were completed a couple of months ago, and can be seen on this page:

I just recently completed the first level of the rear building. The images that follow are of that level. Over the next few months, the 2nd and 3rd levels will be added, along with the triple hieght atrium space at the rear of the building. Level one of the rear building consists of a central lobby space, 3 offices, a break room, access to the rear atrium, and a central staircase going to level 2. Comments are always welcome.

LWD+D Has Been Published!

Lone Wolf Drafting and Design is proud to announce the release of Mr. Dwight Atkinson's newest tuturial release "The Artlantis Attitude". Mr. Atkinson felt that that work created by Lone Wolf Drafting and Design was worthy of his latest publication, and graciously included two of our designs.
The first of the two images belongs to the project "Art Gallery" - a conceptual/ promotional rendering designed by Sean DiVincenzo of Lone Wolf Drafting and Design.

The second, also a conceptual rendering designed by Sean, was an image from the Serenity/Battelstar Galactica Hybrid Series.

Lone Wolf Drafting and Design was both honored and humbled to have work included in this educational text. Mr. Atkinson has also written several other titles pertaining to architectural design, and design software, including Artlantis (the software used by Lone Wolf Drafting and Design). "The Artlantis Attitude" can be purchased at Objects Online (http://www.objectsonline.com/), with the direct link page to purchase this title here: http://www.objectsonline.com/product_info.php?products_id=10530
We would like to thank Mr. Atkinson again for including our work in this education text, and it is our hope that it may help others learn this interesting and dynamic trade.

LWD+D's Latest Project: Outpost

Hello All - It has been some time since I posted anything new. For the past few months, I have been working on one of my most ambitious projects called Outpost. Outpost began simply as a sci-fi concept, and quickly evolved into a 40,000 square foot structure, consisting of 3 main areas:
The Forward Entry Building: A two level space consisting of a check point desk, twin computer monitoring stations arranged in 24' tall towers on the left and right of the check point desk, and a conference area on the second level.
Connection Bridge: A hardened structure spanning a 100' wide canyon. Both ends of the bridge consist of a fully enclosed tunnel like structure, designed to trap unauthorized personal within the passageway by sealing off 2 sets of heavy doors with bullet resistant armored glass
Rear Building, Main Ops: This section of the project is still under construction, and should be completed within the next several weeks. The rear structure consists of 3 levels - surveillance and common use on the first floor, private offices on the 2nd floor, and conference on the third. The rear of the building is a triple hieght space with monitoring and surveillance towers.
What follows are images of the front building and bridge, with an exterior shot of the rear building. Comments are always welcome.
